Noelle Frost and stout defense lead Maryland field hockey to 2-0 victory over Ohio State

The Terps (2-1, B1G) overcame the Buckeyes (0-2, B1G) ten penalisation corners to secure a 2-0 shutout for their second victory and shutout of the flavour.
With the victory, Maryland has now won xvi direct games against Ohio State.

Despite not scoring, the Buckeyes practical lots of pressure offensively. They likewise played strong defense for much of the contest as Maryland amounted just two penalisation corners including none in the 2d half.
Ultimately, Ohio State outshot Maryland 10 to six, merely the Terps were able to capitalize on their express opportunities.
